2009. Degree in Biology, specialty "Biology of organisms, populations and ecosystems" (Universidad Blaise Pascal, Clermont-Ferrand, Francia).

2.- Research areas

- Microbial ecology

- Molecular biology

- Ecotoxicology

My research consists of the exploration of microbial diversity in aquatic environments from temperate zones to polar zones and the description of the link that exists with the environment. In particular, I study the role of microorganisms (Bacteria and Archaeas) in biogeochemical cycles such as nitrogen or methane. Recently, I have also focused on understanding the importance of archaea in the transformation of mercury, a particularly toxic heavy metal in its organic form (methylmercury).
